Guides and Versions

A Guide is a collection of pages and content for your product documentation, which can also have various versions of the product content, allowing for effective management of updates.

A version of the existing product documentation can be forked from, preserving original content while enabling new changes to the product contents.

Guides

From the sidebar, guides, and versions dropdown, you can view and navigate through the different guides and versions created.

Create New Guide

To create a new guide, go to the sidebar in the Guide editor. First, click on the guide dropdown, then the New Guide button.

Add the guide name and slug from the dialog, then click the Create button.

And that’s it; you’ve created a new guide for a section of your product documentation.

Versions

From the guide dropdown, you can navigate through various versions of your product documentation.

To manage different versions with different product contents, follow the Versions guide.
